Here’s a smart meal planning tip you may not have thought of.
Imagine this. You come home from a long day at work. You’re tired and hungry. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a delicious healthy dinner all ready, just waiting for you?
All you have to do is to spoon it out of the pot and eat it. You don’t even have to warm it up. It’s already piping hot. Hmm … yummy.
Yes, you can create such a situation … all you need is a slow cooker.
Hey ... don’t have a slow cooker? Stay with me.
Head over to this store and check them out.
They’re not expensive and will be a valuable investment in yourself. It won’t just give you a nice hot dinner to come back to. Imagine all that money you’ll save by not having to buy take-out food.
Just think how much belly fat you won’t gain (or even lose!) by not having to turn to unhealthy mass-produced food. Just because you’re too tired to cook after working the whole day, that’s no excuse!
Besides, you don’t have to worry about cooking when you’re too tired to do it. You do it while you’re still fresh in the morning.
Isn’t it a cool meal planning idea?
I bought my slow cooker a couple of years ago and it’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my health.
And it’s also amazingly easy to produce a meal that’s simply bursting with flavour and nutrients. Even a clumsy person like me made a very tasty chicken dish using the recipe below.
Now I must tell you this is one of the recipes I got from Beyond Diet Program website. I do like their recipes. They’re always full of nutrients and they’re so healthful. Perfect if you care about your shape as much as I do.
Now that’s got the credit out of the way, here’s the recipe itself. Enjoy.
Crock Pot Chicken Legs
Start the slow cooker in the morning before you set off for work. And it’ll be ready for you when you come back. :-)
Or if you’re going to be at home during the day, start it last thing the night before. And it’ll be ready for your lunch.
A very convenient way of meal planning.
Even with my reckless behaviour, the dish came out really yummy. I still have some left over which I’m going to demolish tomorrow. Yumm...
Here’s the photo of my dish.
I hope you’ll enjoy this dish too.
Good luck with your meal planning. :-)
