Squats Exercise Progression For Complete Beginners
If you can’t do a full squats exercise yet, don’t despair. I was in the
same situation when I first started exercising. I found it really hard
to do a single squat properly.
To help you get to the stage where you can do a full squat, here are 5 steps you can follow.
(One thing though. Don't try to add weights until you have learnt
to squat with proper form and posture. Otherwise, you risk injury. Now,
let's start learning.)
Step 1: Squat with a swiss ball.
Don’t lean too much on the swiss ball. Use it as a support. Try to lean as little as possible.
If you don't have a swiss ball, just start from step 2.
